Don’t bring your teen here. Therapists push meds and call DCF. No teaching any kind of coping skills. Just pass the buck onto whatever agency is next in line. Make calls to DCF on good families at the drop of a hat.
i've been going here for over 7 years and have had both help from them and irreversible damage. i tried to get my mom help here when she was also in treatment and they laughed at me and too her side of claiming she was healthy and had no issues then she died. i stopped going there after but later realized i really needed therapy and went back, since not once but twice there secretaries have been rude to me called me names and hun upon me while working. i'm a waitress, i don't just stop serving people when they are rude or i'm busy, that's not how a job works. DO YOUR JOB. if i was agoraphobic or had extreme clinical anxiety that could have set me back years of treatment or even stopped my pursuit of treatment all together. iv been told "i'm sorry i had to deal with that" well i don't want sorry i want action, train your employees better or fire them and get ones who will act correctly for there field of work. something needs to be done.
