Decent food and great service. I always stick to the basics when I go here so I can't comment on how well they do more complex things like eggs benedict, sausage and gravy, or others. It's classic American food and it's wicked inexpensive.
I came here with my grandpa on the last day of my trip to get some pancakes. We walked in, the sign said please seat yourselves, so we did. We sat and waited for twenty minutes. Several staff members walked by us without so much as looking at us. The last straw was seeing a couple who had sat down after us be served before we were even greeted by anyone. This is honestly the worst service I've ever seen. A man whom I can only assume was the manager walked by us twice without even glancing at us. Absolutely terrible.
It is always packed on the weekends and most mornings so hit it early morning or late morning. If it's the weekend then get there early or be prepared to wait.
We waited a long time for food and then received it like warm. On top of our waitress never asked us about the food. Never asked if we needed refills and had the worst attitude. Disappointed cause I know Danny's is usually a lot better
Conveniently located a quarter of a mile from my auto mechanic, Denny's (No, not THAT Denny's) is a busy hometown breakfast joint. It is where the locals go to eat. They serve simple, mostly house made foods with no frills but big character. I sat at the counter and was served right away, and my food took less than 10 minutes. I had tea, rye toast, homemade red bliss home fries (grilled, not deep fried), 2 eggs, and corned beef hash- the canned kind, but cooked really well, into a crispy little meat blanket, just like my Dad used to do it. It was simple, tasty, filling, pretty inexpensive ($9), and a bit nostalgic. It is what Greenfield would be if Greenfield were a breakfast. Great service from Autumn despite a nearly full dining room!
Been going there for years. Great service. Friendly staff. Good food.
