Absolutely horrible. I spend upwards of two hours trying to get someone. it either rings then goes to voicemail, goes straight to voicemail, or just disconnects the call before it rings.
I personally am grateful for there service to the area.
This business is horrible. It's too bad they are the only business in town (and they know it), or else they might actually have to work.
Uber or Lyft is half the price however in my home town there are very few drivers available. Avout Town Taxi is sketchy and i have called and called and called many times . They do not have a dispatcher . One guy answers a cell phone while driving and communicates to the other cabs.
And when my friends rescue inhailor fell out of their pocket in the cab once, they refused to bring it by until she offered to pay the price of a full cab ride.
All About Town Taxi is the only taxi service in town. Some of the time it may be a little difficult to get through, however, they are friendly and have always been there when requested.
Town Taxi seems to be the only option in the Greenfield area. It also seems that are aware of this fact. Service is erratic at best. Drivers have always been polite and helpful, but dispatch is often very hard to reach. Seems like they leave the phone off the hook when they don't feel like answering. Nobody was available today (Thanksgiving ). A recorded message saying they were closed for the day would have been helpful. Get professional!
As the only taxi service in Franklin County they cover a large area, even driving out to Bradley International Airport.
I called all last night trying to get a hold of them to schedule a pick up for today but they never answered answered. I called over and over again this morning and finally got an answer at 8:15 and scheduled a pick up for 9:45 to go to Pizzaz Dance Studio on Pierce St. here it is at 10:30 and there still not here and my 5 year old daughter is so upset! wont stop crying. If they cant make a run they need to be honest instead of breaking little kids hearts!
Keep in mind; we realized what happened quite fast so the cab was only a few streets away AND we had heard him talking on the phone (yes, he was on his cellphone and driving) about breaking for lunch, so we were not crowding out any calls.
